The State Bank of India (SBI) has released the official SBI PO Recruitment 2026 Notification for 1,500 Probationary Officer (PO) vacancies under Advertisement No. CRPD/PO/2026-27/09. The online application process is open from 18 June 2026 to 8 July 2026.
Graduates in any discipline who meet the prescribed age criteria can apply online through the SBI Careers Portal. The recruitment process consists of a Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, Psychometric Test, Group Exercise, and Personal Interview.

SBI PO Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates must satisfy both the age and educational qualification requirements.
Age Limit
Applicants must be:
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years
- Age calculated as on 01 April 2026
Eligible candidates should be born between 02 April 1996 and 01 April 2005 (both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess:
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Qualification should be completed on or before 30 September 2026.
Final-year or final-semester students can also apply provisionally, provided they produce proof of passing the graduation examination by the prescribed date.
Professional qualifications such as Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accountancy, and Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) are also accepted if completed by the required date.

CIBIL Score Requirement
Candidates with adverse credit history or loan defaults must regularize all outstanding dues before joining the bank. If the CIBIL records are not updated by the joining date, candidates must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the lender confirming that there are no outstanding dues.

Only the marks obtained in the Main Examination and Group Exercise & Interview are considered for preparing the final merit list.
