NFR Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must satisfy the prescribed educational qualification and age limit before applying.
Educational Qualification
For All Trades (Except Medical Laboratory Technician)
Candidates must have:
- Passed Matriculation (Class 10) or equivalent under the 10+2 system.
- Secured at least 50% aggregate marks in Matriculation.
- Possess a National Trade Certificate (ITI) issued by NCVT or a Provisional Certificate issued by NCVT/SCVT.
Important
The minimum 50% marks in Matriculation are not applicable for SC, ST and PwBD candidates.
For Medical Laboratory Technician (Pathology & Radiology)
Candidates must have:
- Passed Class 12 under the 10+2 system.
- Studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- Secured at least 50% marks in both Class 10 and Class 12.
- Upload Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and certificates during application.

NFR Apprentice Selection Process 2026
The recruitment process consists of the following stages.
Stage 1 – Merit List
Selection is based entirely on academic merit.
For most trades:
- Average of Class 10 marks and ITI marks.
For Medical Laboratory Technician:
- Average of Class 10 marks and Class 12 Science marks.
Tie-Breaking Rules
If two candidates secure equal marks:
- Older candidate will be placed higher.
- If age is also the same, the candidate who passed Matriculation earlier will be ranked higher.
Stage 2 – Document Verification
Candidates shortlisted at 1.5 times the notified vacancies will be called for document verification.
Applicants must produce original documents along with the required medical certificate.
Stage 3 – Final Selection
The final selection will be prepared based on:
