NBEMS Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The selection process differs according to the post.
For Deputy Director (Medical) and Junior Programmer
The scheme and syllabus of examination will be notified separately on the NBEMS website.
For Junior Accountant, Stenographer and Junior Assistant
The recruitment process consists of two stages.
Stage I – Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Objective-type examination
- 200 Questions
- 200 Marks
- Duration: 180 Minutes
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer
Minimum Qualifying Marks
- SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen: 40%
- All Other Categories: 50%
Stage II – Computer Knowledge/Skill Test
- Total Marks: 100
- Duration: 75 Minutes
- Includes Data Entry, Computer Operation, Word Processing or Stenography (as applicable)
Five candidates per vacancy in each category, based on Stage-I merit, will be shortlisted for Stage-II.
Minimum Qualifying Marks
- SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen: 40%
- Others: 50%
There will be no interview for Group B and Group C posts.
