PSSSB Craft Instructor Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
For Craft Instructor (Degree/Diploma) – Annexure-A
Candidates must possess:
- 10th pass with Science and Mathematics under the 10+2 system from a recognized board.
- Bachelor’s Degree/B.Voc. in the relevant engineering discipline from an AICTE/UGC-recognized institution with 1 year of relevant experience in a Factories Act-registered organization or teaching experience.
OR
- Three-year Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline from AICTE or a recognized Board of Technical Education with 2 years of relevant experience.
Additionally:
- Candidates must obtain the National Craft Instructor Certificate (NCIC) in the relevant trade within 3 years of appointment, failing which their services will be discontinued.

Candidates must possess:
- 10th pass with Science and Mathematics under the 10+2 system.
- National Trade Certificate (NTC) or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the relevant trade.
- National Craft Instructor Certificate (NCIC) in the relevant trade.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a Factories Act-registered organization or teaching experience in a Government-recognized institution.
Additionally:
- Candidates must have passed Matriculation with Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject or an equivalent examination in Punjabi.
- Candidates must possess the required educational qualification before the last date of online application.
- Candidates must clear the Departmental Practical Examination within three years of appointment.
