Essential Qualifications
Professor
Candidates should be an eminent scholar with:
- Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline.
- Minimum 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
- Total research score of 120.
- At least 10 years of teaching/research experience.
- Evidence of successfully guiding a doctoral candidate.
Alternatively, an outstanding professional from industry with a Ph.D. and ten years of significant contribution in the relevant field is also eligible.
Associate Professor
Candidates should have:
- Good academic record.
- Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline.
- Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks.
- Minimum eight years of teaching/research experience.
- Seven publications.
- Research score of 75 as per UGC Regulations, 2018.
Assistant Professor
Candidates should possess:
- Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks in the concerned/relevant/allied subject.
- NET conducted by UGC/CSIR or SLET/SET qualification.
OR
- Ph.D. degree obtained in accordance with UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016.
