AAI NER Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
Graduate Apprentices
- Full-time (regular) 4-year Engineering Degree in the relevant discipline.
- Degree must be recognized by AICTE, Government of India.
Technical (Diploma) Apprentices
- Full-time (regular) 3-year Engineering Diploma in the relevant discipline.
- Diploma must be recognized by AICTE, Government of India.
Trade (ITI) Apprentices
- ITI NCVT Certificate in the relevant trade.
- Qualification must be from an institution recognized by AICTE/Government of India.
Passing Year
- Only candidates who passed their Graduate, Diploma, or ITI examination in 2024 or later are eligible.
Domicile Requirement
Applicants must be Indian nationals and bonafide domiciles of the following North Eastern states:
- Assam
- Tripura
- Manipur
- Meghalaya
- Nagaland
- Mizoram
- Arunachal Pradesh
