The Bank of India has released the Credit Officer Recruitment 2026 notification under Project No. 2026-27/01. A total of 779 vacancies have been announced for Credit Officer (GBO Stream) posts in MMGS-II, MMGS-III, and SMGS-IV grades.

Eligible graduates and professionals with the required banking or credit experience can submit their online applications from 30 June 2026 to 20 July 2026. Selected candidates will receive pay scales ranging from ₹64,820 to ₹1,20,940, depending on the grade.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should carefully check the required educational qualification and work experience before applying.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess:

  • A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute with 60% marks or equivalent grade.
  • 55% marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD candidates.

Experience Requirement

MMGS-II 3 years post-qualification experience as an officer, including 2 years in MSME/Commercial Credit/Project Finance
MMGS-III 5 years post-qualification experience as an officer, including 3 years in MSME/Commercial Credit/Project Finance
SMGS-IV 7 years post-qualification experience as an officer, including 4 years in MSME/Commercial Credit/Project Finance

Selection Process

The selection process includes:

  1. Scrutiny of eligibility based on uploaded documents.

If both the Online Examination and Interview are conducted, the weightage will be:

  • Online Examination – 70%
  • Personal Interview – 30%

Negative Marking
